I had to go to the library before the gym this morning, so I was driving down our town's old main street (before the malls). They line the street with flags for every patriotic holiday. As I am passing the flags I wonder, "Why do the have the flags out today? There is no patriotic holiday in June." Oh, except....FLAG DAY! duh

Went out with friends last night and had a wonderful time. ;) It was so much fun and I don't know why we wait so long to get together! Why do we let real life get in the way of fun?

Today was a wonderful, gloriously warm day. Very unexpected for this time of the year. I had all of the windows in the house open to let in that fresh warm summer air. Today is my daughter's 22nd birthday, and it makes me feel REALLY old! All of her milestone birthdays (16, 18, 21) are over and now she is really an adult. Well we made it home from our weekend trip to Reno. Had a wonderful time. We came home with about half the money we took and I'm guessing about 10 more pounds than we left with! Oh, wonderful. I just went in the bathroom to take my shower and found out we have no water! I called the water company and they are working on the lines today...until at least 1:00!
