Love your new truck! :-) We finally got a new truck last summer (Bil's Toyota pickup lasted nearly 20 years, not bad) and we love the Silverado. Not as big as yours, but, it'll do. lol! Certainly serves its purpose hauling around my artwork to the shows and the dogs to the kennel. We got a nice cap on the back (would never trust my dogs to not jump out the back, LOL!) And, yeah, there's something so dependable about big trucks, we like that.
Yeah, it's definitely a lot like driving a tank.. but faster, so you're more of a danger to reckless drivers. ;) I didn't strictly need a truck this large.. but there's $900 difference between an F250 and an F350, and the 350 can haul roughly twice the cargo in the bed, if necessary...and you can't get a diesel engine in anything smaller than the F250, currently. A diesel engine will be viable even if all the petroleum in the world dries up, so that's what we're using.
LOL! i totally missed this post of yours but then again...i'm about as active on here as you are :) i love your truck! i bought a toyota 4 runner limited last summer l-o-v-e it!
