got nothing to offer but hugs. (((Dawn))) I don't know anything about vet stuff except I hate having to take my dog there for anything other than a check-up. Hope at least this is managable mostly from home if not treatable. Weird that they can't find a reason for it.
In reality? Not so weird to not find a cause for seizures, honestly. There are so many variables. Like I said before, oftentimes it's easier to find out what isn't causing them, but not always easy to find out what is. Not to say they won't in this case, the liver panels might shed some light, but, idiopathic epilepsy is a possibility here. Veterinary medicine is still so much detective work
( ... )
You hit that nail on the head, Dawn. There is a lot of unknowns about seizures, well, not only in animals, but in humans as well.
I'm glad Bragi seems to be doing well on the meds, and as always it's a quality of life issue, and his is great. And that is because you are such a wonderful caretaker. He is a lucky dog. :-)
(((KRIS))) We know a lot about what *isn't* wrong... in fact, aside from those seizures, he's one of the healthiest dogs around. He's definitely loved, and that makes him one of the happiest puppies around, as well. Thanks for the hugs, pretty lady. :)
