Wow, uh, almost wrote something. Became a bit to tired mid way thru, but, in case I finish it, its hardly appropriate for most people, anyone wanna teach me how do a.... uh... cut?

Just take the periods after the angle brackets out

For the "Read more" cut link text:

For your own words as the cut link text:
<.lj-cut text="blah blah blah"> more blah blah blah

For the end cut (which you only need if you want to have stuff that is not under the text after what you wrote. If you don't put the end text, it still works):
<./lj-cut>

Well, I'll work on the story, we'll see if we can dredge the desire to finish it up. My muse appears to be at last gone, rather then merely absent, so perhaps we can find a new one.
