In Character Information
character name: Freyjadour Falenas
Fandom: Suikoden V
Timeline: Bad Ending - When he shows that he has Dawn and Twilight Runes to Georg Prime.
character's age: ~16 years old
powers, skills, pets and equipment:
Freyjadour is a very competent user of a sansetsukon (tri-nunchaku) while in battle, and he can use the weapon as both a long staff or in the triple-nunchaku form. He’s so competent that he has not lost in any of the duels that he has been engaged in. He also has several united special combinations with other characters who he is close to that usually utilize his abilities with the sansetsukon (called the Dawn Nunchaku, Twilight Nunchaku or Sun Nunchaku depending on its evolution in the game).
Over the course of the game events, he also acquires the Dawn Rune on his right hand, one of the three family Runes of the Falenian royal family. It has four levels of magical spells to be cast during the course of battle, though it is used in a plot-wise event for healing and opening the passages of the Sindar civilization. It primarily has the power of healing, but it also carries the power to damage enemies in battle.
At the end of the game, he acquires the Twilight Rune from his dead bodyguard, bearing it on his left hand. Generally opposite to the Dawn Rune, the Twilight Rune causes damage to enemies while used in battle and has no healing capabilities. It creates more destructive results over a group of enemies rather than one and is generally utilized in such a way. It also shows a great will for its bearer and its power is affected by its affinity to the person currently tapping into its power.
Combined together, the Dawn and Twilight Runes have the ability to both heal allies and damage enemies. They also have the ability to deactivate the True Rune of the Falanian family, the Sun Rune. The true lesser unique runes have the ability to activate the healing and renewing qualities of the Sun Rune instead of the fiery destructive powers that it normally displays.

canon history:
Freyjadour Falenas Freyjadour Suikosource personality:
Freyjadour is a kind and energetic young man, raised to be polite and formal but also to value the structure of his family and friends. He takes the duties that his mother gives him and excels at doing them properly and with compassion, regardless of his mother’s gradually deteriorating mental health. He represents his family well, and he is protective of them, as seen when Gizel’s plans for taking the throne cause a shift of his countenance towards the Godwin family.
Because he was raised with a loving family, Freyjadour shows great loyalty to his family members. He is willing to risk everything in order to protect and serve his family, especially his younger sister Lymselia. He spent the greater part of his military building days moving to free his sister from the hands of the Godwin family, and he has always shown a special bond with her, even being seen as soft when Lym is involved.
He also shows a great love of his mother, father and aunt as well, though because they are adults, they tend to take charge of the situation a bit more. Regardless, he mourns deeply at the news of his parents’ death, even to the point of refusing to leave the palace so that he can search for them. While he mourns the loss of those close to him, he continues on with preserving his own life so that he may live to fight another day and help the remaining family that he has left trapped at the Sun Palace.
Being the silent protagonist of the game, Freyjadour generally allows his aunt and Lyon do most of the talking. Despite that, he carries a strong presence and a solid character, able to persuade people with his actions and the little he speaks, allowing him to gain allies quickly. He is true to his purpose, and he uses his honesty and willingness to help anyone in need to further gather allies for his cause and seat the proper ruler upon the throne. He takes betrayal and skeptism about his choices without a fuss, and he changes opinions and solidifies relationships with action rather than pressing the little political influence he has.
He is a very strong-willed and driven individual, and he keeps to his beliefs regardless of how bleak the outcome would seem. He successfully gathered an entire resistance army in order to oppose the rule of a tyrant family, even if all knew that he would never seat the throne himself. He is simply determined to right the wrongs committed on his family, and he will not stop until the family runes are safe and his sister in her rightful place.
The Prince also has a high level of perseverance even while undertaking the war campaign. He faces the betrayals of those he considers closest to him with a brave face, and he even readies himself to face off against his own family for the sake of doing what is right. He faces the animosity of potential allies and enemies, the verbal abuse of rivals, and he becomes a source of inspiration for the people of Falena with his actions.
