I'm at 23,560 words right now. Just 1,445 short of the goal for today. I plan to catch up before I go to sleep. Wow...I might actually do this! Fourth time's the charm I guess! :-)

wow! awesome job sharla! and i read your excerpt and was very intriqued! you going to share the completed book with us when you are done? i remember when i did that i got about 1000 words in, so i am very impressed that you have made in nearly half way!

Bwahahahaha!! I will not be showing this book to anyone. The thing about NaNoWriMo is, to get to the goal you have to write write write and can NOT edit. So details keep changing as I write (like where people are from, etc.) and my dialogues are awful!!

I have been happy with a number of things I have written though. I'm definitely going to use a lot of what I have written.
