Unfortunately, I didn't get the DVR set for kitty or puppy action. I watched the first half of the football game (boy was that painful at times). I fell asleep and Java woke me up for part of the half-time show and to rewind and show some of the better commercials.

Personally, I liked the "America the Beautiful" one, the Puppy Love, the VW wings, and some of the Doritos the best. There were a few where I was going "Huh?" a lot. The Yellow M&M was mildly amusing.

Puppy Bowl/Kitty Bowl rocked .... watched it during the Super Bowl halftime, then watched it again after the Super Bowl

keyboard cat was awesome

the hamsters getting the power back was a cute touch

I agree with you about the people ... though I would kill to be the ref for one of these events ... the idiot talking about the cats was supposed to be an imitation of an NFL sideline reporter I guess ... and in that she did a good job as she was just as worthless as they are

the Fish Bowl? didn't even know there was such a show ... not surprising other trying to get in on Puppy Bowl's success

as for the Super Bowl ads, I thought they were a bit weak this year ... plus, they were released before the Super Bowl for folks to vote on ... I think the Budweiser ad with the puppy and horse was the best of the bunch ... Dober-hauhau was like a drug trip

yeah, if the point of the superbowl commercial hype is getting people to watch them during the superbowl, and, presumably watch the superbowl, what's the point in releasing them BEFORE the superbowl? we were at a sports bar with some friends on Saturday and they were playing the commercials back to back! a "preview" of the commercials we would ALL BE SEEING ... tomorrow. wtf?? they are commercials. most of them aren't that great!

i still haven't bothered to watch any of them but the coke commercial because i wanted to see what made people so angry. i still don't know. (or care.) lol
