This is what happens when you are a subject and not a citizen. If we're not careful, we'll have it here in American someday, too. On the whole, Government is evil. Never forget.

A recap on that great American tradition: abandoning our allies. Easy to do when we could always retreat into our continental fortress surrounded by two giant moats on either side. Except 9/11 proved that our fortress can't protect us in the old fashioned way anymore.

No time to really make a detailed post this morning, but I just wanted to get something off my chest. I thought I'd be pretty upset with Dem control, but I actually find myself having mixed (read: good and bad) feelings. More in-depth post tonight where I will outline my hopes and fears for the next two years.

Man, I haven't posted anything for awhile.

For the record - Dems pick up 13 in the House and 4-5 in the Senate. Repubs keep a slim majority. They don't lose, so they win.

Just you watch.
