Reading: I'm reading Tana French's THE LIKENESS, about the Dublin murder squad. I read the first book in this series when we were away and really liked it. There's something so thrilling about discovering a new writer and finding they have lots of books for you to catch up on.

Ooh, maybe I should try Tana French. They'd all be get-able at work.

French is a good writer. And of course, you'd know all the local allusions too. So it's a question of whether the story is a good match for you. I really liked the first one, and this one is good too.

While they're on vacation at the French Riviera. After your NaNo novel that you wrote in HS sold for 100K.

This book has two threads going: the writer's life and the fantasy novel she wrote. I think the writer's life actually has more fantasy.
