Fondu is phun. Jane Fonda apparently is supposed to not be phun. Phuket is supposed to be phenominal. Phunny, phabulous phood phrom aphar always sounds good when you think about adding a little chocolate into the mix ( Read more... )

Fondu is OK, depending on who's doing it and if they know how. I have bad stories about New Years, a few years back, and Pug's cheese fondu that went so wrong... imagine oil, and a GIANT CURD that looked like something from a bad sci-fi B-movie.

Phuket is cool, very cool. I liked Kata Beach a lot, where my aunt (the one in Bangkok) had a summer home.

I'm glad you took care of Amber, JP. Having invested what I have in Roxy, I can understand the pinch from such things, but you did the right thing. The vacation will come, and while you wait, you will have her company.

I already have my tickets for Rush. Steve and I are going
that Friday night--even though ill be "Workin' Them Angels".
But, it will be good to go, it will be a "Far Cry" from my
studies that night.

Maybe what you need is a vacation that isn't too expensive or far from home....but a place where you can unplug and have a good time.

Already looking forward to take'n the dogs to some lake northwest of Milwaukee. Figure I'll drive until I hit one and just camp out like back in the old BSA days.

Sorry to hear that you won't be rocking Seattle as planned. Maybe a summer visit would be better anyway. Too bad you can't bring your bike. I was hoping to illustrate the 'Swedish Jon' experience for you... :wink:
