Okay, I have declared that I am spending FAR too much time on the internet, namely on my LJ. When I get up in the morning, I check my email to see my inbox. Get ready for work, go to work, my work computer is of course, online so....i do my work WHILE messing around on my LJ. Spend 9 hours at work going between my work and LJ. Ooh, you used to write?! I think you'd make a really good humour writer, actually.

And you are so right - the internet is not only addictive, but fun as well! There is so much to read here, and so many cool people to meet.

"use to write" is the word here. i haven't had a creative flow in me in years. maybe this will help with the writing online and stuff. I seem to be illuminating my thought more often since i started using LJ.

You really think i could be a humour writer? that's the first time anyone suggested that. I use to write fantasy and sci fi and then i started into anime and wrote fanfics but i never put anything out. i really think befanini is the only one who has anything original from me. i wrote a very short 53 peice for her. thanks for the wonderful comment. makes me think.......

LOL. I think I totally spend too much time on the internet too. that's why I was trying to cut back last week, and then rl wasn't helping at all

Yay at being creative. That means you're inspired to do something, which is awesome in my book. =D

OH to the mighty strike-sentences. how many times have i used them....my old friends.
But i have to do a lot of proof reading in my job so it's all good. just gives me a sense that i will never do it right the first time around.
Thanks for the comment. I actually have gotten back to writing a bit but it is coming along very slowly which is cool by me. i would rather have a slow story that i know i took my time on than a rushed one that i knew was half ass.
but then again, why would i rush stories that i knew would only be for me? who am i trying to impress?!

I think I read a meta in someone's lj that people write for themselves. I mean, in the end, we write stuff because we want to. (so nobody can say that we can't write what we wrote?) Ugh, I'm no good at explaining. >_< Guess I have to find that link. I just don't know where to start.

My point is, just write what you'd like to write. :)

I actually DID understand what you said. LOL. We write to express ourself and even if no one ever reads it ( and only one person other than my self has read my work) then that's still fine. cause it means that we have left something that wasn't here before. which is pretty damn cool if you ask me.

You are MOST definitely not alone,Dax. I have been going through the most crappy-ass time of my life in RL since Oct. of last year, and if it wasn't for the support sytem of great people I have found here, and the creative outlet from the writing, I would probably (seriously) be in a rubber room somewhere or have slit my wrists several months ago ( ... )

OMG do I hear you or what? RL is being a super pain in the ass to me since beginning of Nov. It's just now that things are kinda getting settled down but it's really been a pain. And i've found myself changing too. i don't like it. i wish things were back to the way they were monthes ago but i realize that life is not living without change. but that doesn't make it any less hard to deal with ( ... )
