I didnt' mean to make anybody cry :( I actually think I wrote this as part of challenge where Wilf dies and the Doctor comes to see Donna, but I'm not sure, I could be dreaming. It was a while ago that I wrote this.

And I always had this image in my head of Donna standing in front of shop window crying at pinstripe suits. I don't know why!

Question - she knows his real name, but he says he could never tell her. Why couldn't he tell her but she can know it anyway?

Glad you liked it. In relation to your question...I don't know the answer. For some reason it's in the back of my mind that he can't tell people his name for some reason. Almost as if he can't say it himself. But again, I could be dreaming ;)
