andre agassi just made it to the semis after losing the first two sets and winning a tiebreaker in the fifth... and it's moving day! not even the thoughts of all my tests later today are making me upset at this point!

i'm definitely into that party idea. by the way, i'm also VERY impressed that he can still be this far in the US Open, or still playing period. i wasnt just happy because he's andre agassi (that's most of it), but also because all the other guys have a few more years to get to the finals or win the open than he does. so impressive.
Haha, that's especially funny since Andre's dad is Iranian...and Blake is the amalgamation of a blonde white Englishwoman and a black New Englander - both are such strange combinations but fortunately still play for the US.
A lot of players, like Maria Sharapova who have origins in other countries will play for the country they were born in rather than playing for the country where they actually learned to play tennis. That bothers me a bit, but they can do as they please. However, Mary Pierce, born in Canada and trained in Paris, plays for the country she learned to play in. Muchos kudos to her.
...but if you're interested the US Gymnastics champoinships are in a few months, and that is SUPER exciting to me. Carly's definately coming back, but I don't think she can handle it... She has waaaaay too much to live up to.
