Well I stuck up for myself today and truthfully it felt good. I got up a few minutes ago and called into work because there is about 6 inches of snow and ice on the ground and I wasn't going to risk coming in. Good for you!! They shouldn't blame you for not coming in - the country roads can be HORRIBLE when they don't plow and salt them; that's scary!! And damn right, after how they treated you last week, you certainly don't owe them any favors. I bet it did feel good LOL.
