I stopped playing D&D back in about 95 with 2nd edition but am interested in getting back into because of all the positive reviews of and responses to the new 4th edition rules.
now just have to find peopel to RP with and then get the time to have sessions.
I prefer 3.5 over 4th but if you enjoy the latter more, then c'est la vie! I know some people who still play 3rd and even others who are still well vested in AD&D 2nd.
Also when you get a chance, have a read of the D&D article I wrote on facebook: "To go Fourth or Not? A Gamer's Choice." I think you'll get a giggle out of it!
I'd love to, but it's Faerun, and that is what makes it impossible - oh, and we've got characters that are not really transferable - a druid, a duskblade etc. While there are stop-gap measures; it ain't the same. Anyway, I imagine we'll go 4th full time after we finish the Faerun campaign.
