Mm. First they keep delaying the release...then we have to wait for the Australian delayed release...and then it costs a ton just to get it. I think they're trying to protect the Australian games industry but frankly, we don't make that great games. Or pretty. FREE TRADE FOR ALL POOR STUDENTS!!! It'd stimulate the economy like woah.

Crying Sora is just too cute in that =) I think there might be another one like that somewhere in the archives but I'm too lazy to look for it.

We have a new tech at work who's from Australia and moved here with his wife to be close to the in-laws. I got to explain to him the joy that is G4. He thought it was a tape, not a TV channel.

Trust me, when I heard you guys only have to pay about 40-50 bucks for a game, I nearly had a heart attack.
And what is the joy that is G4? I know you guys have the magical thing called Tivo, but I haven't heard of this G4. Sounds like a mobile phone add-on...

I just paid 11 bux for a brand new Gameboy Advance game I've been wanting for ages. I love sales.

Personally, I like DVR.
Ages and ages ago part of it was called tech TV.
It's an entire channel about video games, as well as some other techie type things at times. Cheats, upcoming games, reviews, and Trek 2.0/Spock Market (something that makes the original Star Trek watchable) are examples of its offerings. It appeals to my inner geek and shows many pretty action gameshots.

Oh, the GBA games i'm okay with because I uh, download the roms and use an emulator.

But that sounds so awesome - I would honestly be watching it 24-7 if I ever got my hands on it. Someday! In the meantime, I don't have cable of any type -I rely on my friend to tape Comedy Central every week and it kind of sucks when it's halfway through some guy's joke and then cuts to Channel 7 news because my friend didn't set the timer long enough. And now I will never get the punchline to those jokes...

Yeah, and you know if you go "But I said that a few moments ago!" you look like a whiny, credit-stealing complainer and get labelled 'not a team player'. It's like bashing your head against a wall.
