Aaagh! Congrats, dude. Yay! [throws congratulatory confetti] I know I should be looking for jobs, but.. eh.

I really liked TYFS! I thought it was different and sharp and witty, and Aaron Eckhart, hello! He was such a smarmy bastard, it was awesome. Also, who is Leech?

I thought you had a job?

And Leech from X3 is the same kid who played Joey Nayler, except he has hair in TYFS! And Aaron Eckhart was pretty perfect for the role, wasn't he? =D

Nonono, no job. I've just sent off two applications, though. You have motivated me! :)

Oh, him! Right, right. And yes, Aaron Eckhart was very good indeed.

btw, wth? is it just me or did your application go really fast? you are so lucky! Myer's job process took up a lot of my time- 2 group interviews, paperwork meeting, 4-6 hour online induction, full day training, safety afternoon and evening first shift! thank god we got paid for most of it though.
Can't wait to bitch about the register with you=)

Heh, my process isn't finished yet =) I still have to so some pre-employment thing and then a two day training course, but that's about it! The selection process was just an application and a group assessment.
Man, you make this register thing sound scary. What is it exactly? And what department are you working in?

hahah nah i don't think you need worry about the register too much, cos i don't think many ppl will return, exchange or haha layby and transfer stationary=P i on the other hand, i'm in ladies clothes. so. >.< but actually, i like using the register! i'm just getting used to them and their fiddliness, just the first few shifts were rather hectic cos sales were on and gah omg busy with me not knowing how to do things! but hey, at christmas, they will probably chuck you shifts where you'll change department..so it'd be good to get friendly with the register sooner than later!
