I've never read/seen FMA, but the story is really beautiful!

Thanks! ♥ You should look up both the manga and the anime (the anime is one of the better-done animes out there, even though it does diverge from the manga storyline). :)

I read chapter 1 a long time ago, but somehow wasn't hooked enough to continue))) But maybe I'll read more sometime... (Damn, I really have a huge list of what to read and watch))))

Continue if you can. :D FMA does start off a little bit slow, as the Elric brothers are in the middle of an investigation, but everything starts to come together little by little and it's fantastic. :) (XD Tell me about it--I've got 3 pages' worth of anime/manga/books/TV shows I want to read & watch ^^;)

I think your Trisha/Hohenheim is quite reflective of the canon :)

The Ed and Al antics...is definitely them! Especally with Ed trying to weasal his way out and Al contradicting him. And smart Ed with his de-de-com-pose

I love your attention to details through out the fic too. Very nicely written!

There is one tiny thing though:
She wished she could will her statement to be truth
to be true or to be the the truth?

Cheers!

(My only FMA icon at the moment! Need to find more XD)

You think so? I'm relieved! ^^; I've never written FMA before and I'm not half as confident on my grasp of its characters as I would be for Naruto. :P I'm glad you thought Ed and Al's antics were IC; I always saw Ed as the sneaky one and Al as the one who knew when to cut losses and, through confessing, get a lighter punishment. ;)

Oh, I actually meant to write it that way. I mean, I don't know if the omission of the "the" actually affects the meaning, but for some reason I just liked the phrasing of "to be truth" better. :P

Thanks for commenting! ♥

(The limit on userpics pains me!--I have lots of FMA icons saved, but I can't bear to switch out my userpics b/c I like them so. ;___;)

A cute and beautiful story :)
Hohenheim/Trisha plot is somewhat heartbreaking, isn't it? :/

Thank you! *glomps* And yes D:, when Hohenheim was crying in one of the later chapters over Trisha... ;_____; That's the tragedy of immortality for you.

Yeah... Everyone was kinda shaken seeing it. These who yearn for immortality are idiots. Immortality means loneliness :(

I know! :( I can see how people might think it'd be cool, because of the "never having to die" aspect, but then they don't take into account the fact that they'll see their loved ones die while they go on. :(

(... I am reminded of the Doctor, thanks to shaitanah. ^^; Same situation with him too.)

Hohenheim/Trisha! *cheers* For that alone, thank you so much.

I like how you show that Trisha fully accepts Hohenheim as he is.

“I won’t go and leave you hanging; you can try to do the same for me.”

Sums up their relationship very well.

And the bits about the basket and braids are very well interconnected. (pun intended :D)

Again, thank you very much! <3

I'm glad you liked it! :) Hohenheim/Trisha isn't all that prominent in FMA fandom, is it? ^^; I had fun connecting the basket-braids-flowers all together; it's the little things that connect to little memories. :) I'm really happy you liked it. ♥

This is really lovely. The chasing/waiting theme is perfect and your portrayal of the characters is impeccable.
