Gyaaah, SUI!!!! <3 Sweetie, I love you!!!!! God, his gruesome sense of humour is perfect! So is his interaction with Sasuke))))
“Lime juice on guts?”

“Oh yes,” Suigetsu commented. “It’s a very special sort of flavor, you should try it.”

“It’s unfortunate they don’t have gut-and-lime flavored yogurt then,” Sasuke said levelly.
This totally killed me! XDDDD ILU!!!!
Haven't checked the others out yet, I'm sure they rock, but my brain's dead))) But you're awesome at writing Sui!!!!! <3 THAAANK YOU!!!!

Hee, I'm glad you liked it! I was thinking of him eating yogurt in ep 116 and sometime it evolved into this. XDD *hugs*

I think you did fine on the drabbles? I haven't posted a single one yet ;_;

I really found myself loving first and the third one. They were so subtle -- and that's just what a drabble should be?

Ino's experiences in the flower shop were just so realistic - something I feel most readers would be able to relate to. I think your characterisation of her was very human too. She seemed very much like an ordinary person, which I appreciated muchly.

Shikamaru/Naruto ... it's not so much of a secret that they are my friendship OTP in Naruto. I love their dynamics, and you wrote them so well <333. The contrast between the present and the past was beautifully handled.

And the drabbles were very much gen, which is something I appreciate more and more these days in Naruto fandom.

Of course, your writing is just really lovely too.

(And this icon I'm using now is like totally inappropriate, but yes =_=).

hee, 'tis fine. Besides, you just got your wisdom teeth pulled, you can rest. ♥

Thanks! :) Looking back over all four, I think I ended up using very ordinary, subtle language for the 1st and 3rd while leaning more toward the humor/crack for the 2nd and 4th. I'm glad you liked Ino, I had to think for a while about her experiences and how she would view the world. Plus, the flower shop can't be that lucrative imho. :P And Shikamaru is just plain fun to write.

I've moved toward gen throughout my time in fandom too. ^^;

I'm glad you liked these (and haha, your icon is perfectly all right ;)) <3

Oh, wow. Thank you so much! That was just beautiful. :D

“Fine. A bowl of ramen after you’ve devastated it.”

You captured Shikamaru's sense of humor perfectly there. I love how you write their relationship as being so light and easy and natural. <3 Thank you so much!

:D I'm glad you liked it! The bowl-of-ramen cloud didn't make it in until the very end, and after that I couldn't resist poking fun at Naruto's eating habits through Shikamaru. ;) ♥!

They all are beautiful, but I'm biased and like mine the most XD Just because it has all of them - Itachi, Shisui and Shizuka - in it XD Judging by the reactions here, people still don't know how to react to Shisui, huh? :/

he remembers telling Uchiha Mikoto once that her eldest had two faces, the expressionless one and the glaring one-“But he’s clearly missing something, where’s the adoring face for me?” Afterwards he’d found the tips of his kunai broken off cleanly.
LOL And thy say that only women would take their revenge for something like this XD But he's not quite right, you know - Itachi happens to smile XD

He’s called Inabi a drowned ferret before.
… Well, he certainly looks like one.

LOL i wonder why we both decided to make fun of Inabi of all people XD Shisui clearly doesn't like him XD

“Shizuka!” Shisui gives her a puppy dog look.

Wait... Uchiha with a puppy dog look? Is it even possible? XD

“-a blanket which was doused in poison, its combustion resulting in a poisonous haze, so obviously it was just a blanket,” ( ... )

hee, whenever I see that icon of yours I feel all giddy and happy inside. ♥ Naruto's puppy eyes are terribly effective. ;) I'm glad you liked yours! Shisui likes to poke fun at Itachi even if he knows Itachi does smile.

Well, Inabi DOES look like a drowned ferret. I even looked up the ones who confronted Itachi to see which one I thought looked ugliest. XDD

Totally possible. I can imagine Obito doing one, Shisui can do one too. ;)

LOLOLOL. Suffice it to say a lot of people ended up getting checked for breathing airborne poison after the blanket got set on fire. :P

indeed. :D

*GLOMPS* <3! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I wonder if Shisui's puppy eyes are so effective, too XD

LOL Poor Inabi seems to be doomed to be the object of jokes xD;

Geeez... that makes quite a few suspects that could be eager to kill off him in the end - Shizuka among them XD;;

Thanks XD *glomps*

Okay, Inabi is asking for it with that hairstyle of his. :P

But Shisui can use his Shunshin to get out of thorny situations if necessary, so it'll be quite a chase. ;)

<3!

I love all of these, especially for the subtle, everyday reminders of relationships that are present in these. I doubt anyone would mind if they grew (though none seem especially awkwardly ended...)

I especially loved the first and third for that very reason- the realiism and little touches of everyday life. I might ask to borrow that idea of The flower shop as a front by the way... that is brilliant!

I'm glad you liked them, and yes! the relationships. Especially Ino's, I tried slipping in Shikamaru & Chouji where I could. :P (I dunno, I had a hard time with the Shikamaru & Naruto one because I couldn't figure out where the dialogue would go; originally it was at the end, but I thought cutting off the convo there would be awkward and moved it around... >_<)

Please feel free to. :) I thought that, well, the flower shop couldn't make that much money, and perhaps Inoichi set up for other reasons...

I know what you mean about the flower shop. I've been trying to work that out in my head too, especially since Inoichi/Inoishi (Can't figure out which spelling is right) is a jounin and works with interogation from the looks of things, that he couldn't have that much time for a shop.

I suppose it could be Ino's mom running things but still....

Hmm, I think the spelling of his name is Inoichi. At least, that's how I've always seen it. And we always see Ino manning the desk, so... yes, Ino's mother could run the shop, but even then it's not like they can totally depend on the shop's revenue. Inoichi still works with interrogation; and Konoha can't rely only on Jiraiya's spy network, after all.
