Wow. Bookman's Alley is one of my favorite Chicago places. I have so many books from there, and so does Martino. Going there on a Sunday afternoon and browsing and buying was one of our favorite activities. I used to go there when I was feeling depressed because that place always made me feel better. It's where I fell in love with the Algonquin wits and bought several old Charles Adams cartoon anthologies. Sigh. Things have changed.

I'm really glad your blogging more these days - I find all the news you share, even small things, really interesting.
