school starts next monday, i went into orientation earlier this week. i looked like a hot mess! but it was pretty fucking awesome, seeing all the dudes again. i feel better about this year than any other year of school i've ever had in my life. i don't know if it was me growing some balls this summer or losing the weight (15 FUCKING POUNDS AND ( Read more... )

quentin tarentino has the best movie soundtracks ever. i love the death proof soundtrack.

(god i love you quentin tarantino, let's get married, seriously) so much seriously. I can't wait to go out and see the new movie. One of my friends was over and had never seen any of his movies, it was all I could do not to sit her down and make her watch Pulp Fiction.

Also, I was watching the Jonathon Ross show and the host was criticizing tarantino's choice of music and how sometimes when he picks popular music it made the host think of another movie that used it and throws him off.I totally disagreed though, taratino's films always have the best music and just fit so well with his images.

i think it'll be awhile before i can see IB and it makes me sad :( :( gotta hit the crunch time as soon as school starts, so all recreational shit is off limits. but pulp fiction is the shiiiiiiiit. samuel l. jackson defined badassery in what--two hours or so? gotta love him for that.

i've never seen much popular music in tarantino's films! although that just may be me not paying much attention, but seriously--with bands like the coasters and singers like april march? i've never HEARD of them before! i kind of feel like tarantino would make a great hipster or something; he probably LOVES pulling strange unheard bands out of his ass to annoy/confuse people. :D
