Mom's bday~~
she came home from her long trip accross China. I hope she visited my half brother, from her previous marriage.. though I'm supposed to pretend to not know about that.
Anyway, she brought me back dresses, and a small carved wooden bead charm, it's a round unbloomed lotus! It smells funny, but my mom says it's from her dad's side of the family, so I am grateful. My mom's dad, my gung gung passed away when I was 3, so it's very rare to see anyone from his side. I think I will find somewhere to hang it
Me and my dad spent the day together, we drove to pacific mall, and found a spot relatively quickly despite the easter weekend. Pacific Mall is an Chinese mall that's open despite western holidays. We went there to purchase cake for my mom, pick up decals and glittery svaroski crystal and sticker decals to cover my scratched laptop X_x~ My dad was amused that the small shops we walked into were run by such young people, people that are in their early 20s! I'm 20 right now... It made me feel bad that I'm a jobless student.
I've fallen for Uverworld all over again~ I've felt guilty using Takuya as my wallpaper!!~ maybe my boyfriend won't like it, so I better change it!! he's visiting tomorrow, guess he'll game a bit while I study. I think I'll read one chapter before sleeping, or wake up early to read! wheee!!
Anyways my mom got home late, and we ate a bit of cake together, I made dad make her congee though! My mom wasn't feeling too well coming back from Asia, guess she was too gluttonous and ate things that taste good but are bad for her eheheh.. I had my jones soda "orange you glad you voted for change" with Obama on it as we ate. I'm kinda silly since I don't collect bottles of Jones soda... I collect bottles of Bawls. Oh delicious Bawls, so blue, and sometimes rootb33r too~
