THE HANDS ON THE FACE! Oh, I thought I was dead inside with this show, but then Elena had to go in for the hands on the face and Stefan's mouth just tilted up ever so slightly and you could tell some part of him really heard her. And I love that she told him to "fight for it" because that's EXACTLY what he told her at the lakehouse when she was trying to sacrifice her (and he was totally doing the HANDS ON THE FACE then too).

Sorta sad because of how hard I was holding out for a Rose and/or Jenna appearance. Someone could have at least mentioned them.

I was AMAZED that she put her hands anywhere near him. But OH SO GLAD. I swear I love them more every episode. Also, I think everything anymore comes back to that conversation at the lakehouse. I love, love, love that they're about "fighting for it." So many fictional pairings lack that for the sake of drama and it's so refreshing and breathtaking and amazing in these two.

Someone could have at least mentioned them.

Exactly. A two-second mention would have been appropriate and easy. In my head!canon, Damon was thinking about Rose the entire time (there's fic to be written here if I'd just do it). And Elena about Jenna for that matter. Maybe we'll get mentions next episode? As residual conversations from this ep? I hate to cross my fingers--and twist my heart up in it--but I'm going to anyway. Gosh, I just really want Rose. My shipper heart.

Yeah - Rose would have been interesting on this ep! I loved Mason way more than he was alive though, Lexi is my girl and I still ship Jeremy/Anna so I was pretty satisfied with the ghosts I got! Not that it was a well written ep IMO....

I have never shipped Stelena less. I think it's all well and good asking her asking him to fight. But she's been compelled by Damon to forget and it's not like she's remembered. She doesn't need to love him or wait for him or any of that but I would like an appreciation of the fact this isn't really him and he did go through a lot for her.

You think the compulsion is faked?! Interesting theory and it would sit a lot better with me but it seems so real!

Where is Rebekah? My thoughts exactly. Hopefully not shacking up with Tyler.

I think Rose could have been so much better than Mason. I might be biased though. xP I think I actually liked Mason less? But everybody else seems to have liked him more. I'm probably just bitter over not seeing my girl. lol. BUT LEXI. I was so happy to see her even though I have a lot of confused feelings over what happened with her this ep. Jeremy/Anna WAS AND IS THE BEST. Definitely my favorite Jeremy pairing. :)

Seeing Lexie made me so happy. We need more of her.I wonder if they could have gone back in time if they would have still killed her...

I missed Rebekah too.

YESSSSSSS. It was not a moment I was expecting and IT WAS PERFECT. Perfect.

Lexiiiiiiiiiii. I hope we see more of her in flashbacks (I also hope we get more flashbacks). As for killing her if they could go back in time, I wonder as well.

And not only was it kind of a bummer that Rebekah didn't show, but it was also really weird that she wasn't there, ya know? Conspicuous absence to the max. You cannot tell me what wouldn't have been in the thick of things with ghosts popping up everywhere. I hope they have a dang good reason for her being gone come next ep.

Exactly. That would be something she would be all over and passing on info to Klaus. If they don't expalin that I will be disspointed.

Nothing is ever beyond hope! However, probably beyond probability. One trip down ghost avenue is likely to be all we get. :/

I will also be disappointed if they just leave Rebekah hanging. It would detrimentally affect her awesome and we can't have that.
