OMG sweetie. The brotherly love almost killed me in this episode.

About your parallels: both Klaus and Damon were rejected by their fathers. All these children were killed by their fathers because they wanted to save them. I loved loved loved how everything seem to be interlaced.

Damon owns me more and more.

Yeah, yeah! I think I didn't respond to that parallel as much because I had assumed that it existed before this episode, so I was already used to the idea. XP But I'm struck by Klaus and Stefan both killing the parent who rejected them. Really, I think that this just means that Klaus is the person Damon + Stefan would be--combine the Salvatores and you get Klaus. I LOVE IT.

Damon's been feeling off to me lately...I dunno. Still love him to death though and in this episode he was FANTASTIC. :D

I am really loving Damon's journey so far. I think he is in the midlle of it andf still trying to find his own way to live the life he wants to live, which I guess it a kind of balance between being a vanpire and still having his humanity..so he is on/off I think but he is exactly where I think he should be now.

I pretty much agree with you on this. :) It just feels sometimes like the show thinks he has Arrived at who he's going to be/at what he wants, and I don't think he has yet. He's moving right along, but he hasn't made it to his destination. Of course, we did have him snapping a few episodes back, so maybe I'm not really seeing the show neglecting his journey, but rather missing the Damon-centric episodes. :P

Stefan and Damon hanging out was all kinds of awesome!

Oh I know how could you walk away from that? My heart broke for her. She needed a hug.

That line about Damon being the one to save Stefan made my heart leap for joy. It has to happen it just has to.

Could we get an episode of pre war stefan/Damon. Like Kid! Stefan and kid! Damon because I would be forever happy if we could.

YES. I hope this his promising more brother stuff in future episodes because I NEED MORE BROTHER STUFF FOREVER.

Could we get an episode of pre war stefan/Damon. Like Kid! Stefan and kid! Damon because I would be forever happy if we could.

Whatever happened to Katherine... I hope she's not dead. After this week's epi, it appears like everyone wants Klaus dead but I still want some fun and excitement. I'm sure this will happen too simply because TVD is the best show ever!

As for Katherine, I'm pretty convinced she's not dead. The longer we go without seeing her, the more convinced I am. Although it's really annoying that she's not around.

After this week's epi, it appears like everyone wants Klaus dead but I still want some fun and excitement. I'm sure this will happen too simply because TVD is the best show ever!
