One of my favorite lines from one of my favorite movies.
So yesterday was pretty uneventful and somewhat long for some reason.
Class at 11 with Linds and Professor Chesley for Ancient Rome which looks promising as an easy class. Shame we have to sit in the front for our hung over Friday mornings will probably be evident ~_~
Class at noon with Lindsay E went by nicely, sitting next to Chris J and finding out my Love & Prositution in Russian Literature also includes Adultery in the title. Fair amount of reading but at least the subject matter isn't mind boogling, ya know? :P
Lunch at the MP (they returned our meal plans!) with the Lindsays, Joe, Caryn, and Erica. Good food, good convo, good times. Saw ishtra packing up some food and harassed her a bit, which was good.
Bookstore and Baskin Robbins run with Linds E & Joe which resulted in me getting a few school books and a stop at work which I will go into later since I'm not too happy in the department right now.
Wasted time at Lodge 1 with the Lindsays and then Cassie (met her Aussie boyfriend), and then back to Ludwell. Wasted time on the computer uploading new pictures and many more to go before I have everything updated.
Dinner at the MP again but this time with noodlynoodles and Shanika (so glad she's back at school :) ) followed by CPK & Homebrew meetings. Walk home wasn't too cold and then spent the night playing with my Russian Roulette game (it has shot glasses! but we used water), and putting away even more clothes while being accompanied by the Stooges and Linds E. Bed later than I wanted but then again this is college :P
So already done with one class this morning- only took a half hour though this is only the first day so I expect the other days to take up the full hour and a half. Saw Carrie and Jaime in Pagans and Christians (for which I have Prof. Chesley also) and chatted some with them on the way down from the 3rd floor in Morton.
Just updating from Swem now. Kate was nearby but not near enough for me to call out at her. My Holocaust class is at 11 so I'll head out shortly so as not to be too late on the first day since the rest of the semester I'll be on a quick walk from Morton to Wren- ugh.
Lunch plans not certain yet but I plan on starting on Pushkin's Eugene Onegin this afternoon as well as ordering the remainder of my texts from Amazon or wherever else I can find them cheap.
Fun night at the Wave for '80s night coming up- ishtra, chikuqi, and nightmajik will be in attendance as will other fun peeps. I think some pre-partying is in order and I only hope everything I've heard about '80s night at the Wave is as good they say. Either case, I'll have fun during Phase 3 of my Sotally Tober celebrations ^_^
Aiight, off to see how this Holocaust class turns out. Roman Britain at 2 and then done with academics for the day- other than some reading of course *winks*
