Imperfection Accountability

One thing I do realize - I cannot follow my own rules perfectly, just as I cannot follow Scripture perfectly. In doing so, I fully admit to my own frailty and fallacy. In a sense, I add function to my rule set, not just as a set of rules, but as a means of examining my own faults. This shall bring awareness to my own weaknesses. In this, I shall do my best to improve upon them.

However, admitting imperfection still holds me accountable for my mistakes. Much of this accountability comes in the form of guilt. It can also bring about regret. For all of these, a sense of repentance is required.
