Why does it irk me so much that mom left the benefit performance early to look at a house with a boyfriend i only sort of like even when my performance was already over? Why does that translate, in my head, to that she doesn't support my going? Why do I feel cheated?

What's the benefit for, you ask?
Because I'll be performing here
this summer.
