As usual, it takes Dan very nearly getting himself killed before either of them will fess up, but not as usual, the self-loathing is absent, and I love you for it. :) Beautiful, just beautiful.

After a moment's consideration, Rorschach huffs softly beneath his mask and wedges their shoulders together again, definitely looking away. But at least it's enough of a message that Dan feels only halfway stupid and hopeless.

Ahhh I loved this! So sweet and gentle like all your fics, but never saccharine. I always love the way you build up romantic tension; whenever your Dan and Ror kiss it never fails to get me.

What a touching scenario between them! I’m always drawn to sensual imagery, and on that note, my favorite paragraph is the one where the criminals beat feet down the alley, and our heroes chase. That got me; I was there with them. Also, I could feel the cold, the uncomfortable floor, even the sore ankle. Nice job. And heh, I see that we have both made Rorschach admit his fear/worry/love in our secret santa fics by using the word “concerned.”

Aw, thank you! I'm glad to hear you liked that paragraph in particular, it's fun to write action like that. Haha I didn't notice we both did that! That's so Rorschach though. Far be it from him to say he loves Dan, he's just "concerned." Right. :D

Eeeeee! My heart's doing this little happy twist thing and I'm grinning loonishly. The old movie gestures seem to fit flawlessly with Rorschach.
