I like to think things are going well between me and Parker. Sometimes though, I worry I'm fooling myself. We've been fighting so much lately, and over the dumbest stuff. Well, I'm going to Nebraska for 4th of July weekend. That should be interesting. 8-10 hours one way. All that time, alone, with my mother... We'll be lucky if one of us comes out of this trip alive. I'm really worried about my Grandpa. I found out yesterday, he was in the hospital last week. A couple years ago, he was diagnosed with Emphysema. He went in with an infection in his lungs. These past couple weeks have been unbelievably boring. I watched way too much TV, read a ton, spent a lot of time with Jordyn, cleaned like crazy, and fought with Parker over stupid shit. I tell ya, nothing feels better than a good, long, hug from a toddler. Jordyn's curled up on my lap while I'm writing this. Her little arms keep wrapping around my neck, and pulling me in close.
