new sewing machine

I did it. I broke down and bought a new sewing machine. So far, I've only make a tiny dress for a church mission project but I just adore the way it sews. If you've never bought a new sewing machine, it's sort of like buying a car. You're so afraid that you'll make a mistake and you'll be stuck with it for years. It's a Janome, computerized (which I didn't think I wanted but the guarantee for five years was so good)
and it purrrsssss. It cost $400 but the 1/4 inch foot cost $20 more.

OOOOOooooh, Janome. So pretty. I'm thinking about getting (or asking for)a Janome Daisy. The Daisy line is marketed as the most simple and affordable Janome. Affordable in Janome terms does not always equal affordable in Sam terms, but someday...someday. Congrats on your new acquisition, enjoy!
