A few random things...

1) We went to see "Jesus Christ Superstar" at the Whiting yesterday. Totally satisfying experience. The music was superb, hadn't heard it for a loooooong time and I had forgotten how much I liked it. Ted Neely, the guy who played Christ in the movie ( a few decades ago) is still doing it. A bit disconcerting to have a 63 year old playing Jesus

I have seen Ted Neely play that part too, his voice is still amazing. I also have a friend from college who is on that tour, he plays one of the smaller apostle parts, pretty cool.

Yup, Ted did a fine job and you must have very talented friends.

haven't seen the most recent leg of the tour! just curious, how were the new judas and mary magdalene????!

The new Judas is absolutely fantastic. I predict he'll go very far and we'll be hearing about him for years to come. Such energy and voice.
Mary had a sweet voice. She didn't have as much stage presence yet, but maybe she's not suppose to.
