I've pretty much always wanted to be a teacher, and I still plan on becoming one. However, I've decided I don't want to be a Latin teacher, so there's not much of a point in majoring in Classics. I really love Latin and I couldn't leave it behind. Starting fall semester my school is offering a Latin minor, so I'm switching to an English major and ( Read more... )

It probably sounds stupid (especially seeing as we don't communicate on here anymore anyway) but I'm going to miss your journal. It was full of random, idle thoughts that were always inevitably interesting. Plus I got to know you through here. Yeah. I'm going to miss it.

As of right now I'm still registered for Greek and I really want to take it, but I don't know if I'll be able to keep it on my schedule. I'm registered for 18hrs, and I don't know if I can handle that kind of workload. You should see my schedule though, it's so pretty. Three classes a day monday-thursday, with exactly 15 minutes between every class and they all line up perfectly. I don't want to break the symmetry.

I totally understand. So GSU is offering a Latin minor? I'd rather do that than a Classics minor.
