Bella brought her bone into bed with her, so I guess that I’m sleeping with a bone :) I didn’t want her chewing it while I slept, so I took it away for the night. I’ll give it back in the morning.
Woke up at 6:30 AM. The puppy is still asleep.
Bella chased the rabbit that lives here out of the yard.
The critters are being manic. I haven’t fed

At age 75 (and Ray 78), we wonder about the wisdom of getting another cat after Misty is gone. (She's 14 1/2 now) The probability is that a cat would outlive us, and I question if it's fair to the cat that we can't promise it a lifetime of care. The thought that it would return to a shelter is sad. But - the thought of not having a cat in my life is heartbreaking. I've wondered if there are programs to help pets that outlive their elderly caregivers, and this is the first time I've heard of something like this.
That is a wonderful idea to support something like this.
