I have to disagree with the rest of the comments, I like that he's moving on, but not completely, 'cos he's moving on with his life, trying to live, it's what she would have wanted if she was by his side... I'd not like him to move on and have a woman by his side, but the James your describing is a James Juliet'd be proud, so I'm proud.

agree.

moving on does not mean for me, that he is moving on to other women, it just means that he came out of his pity dark whiskey filled appartment and is trying to move on with his life.
We all know that what Jules would've wanted. We are talking about our HBIC she would not approve of longterm misery James.

moving on his hard to do, and he will have moments where he needs the whiskey again.

I agree with you and Laura - he needs to move past that darkness. It doesn't mean that he has to find someone new but it means he has to find his own peace - he needs to honor her memory and he can't do that if he continues on a downward spiral.

I actually agree with you Laura - he needs to move on from that very dark place otherwise he'd just end up killing himself in depression. Juliet was proud of him and he'd want her to continue to be proud of him now.

Hahaha, I can totally see them setting up a PI business, and Miles could put his "I can hear dead people" skills to good use, just like that person did in that show, idk remember what it was called, but that's beside the point.

For the record, I love the "stages of grief" chapters as much as the dharma ones.

Y'know, I've discovered that Miles is really fun to write for - especially when paired with Sawyer :-)

I do love the way James is trying his best to live what life he has left, knowing it's what Juliet would him to do, that she gave her life for that exact purpose. But I also love that she's the one thing he can never let go of, no matter how much time passes.

Another great chapter. And another chance to bask in my Miles love :D

It's really tough to find that balance between holding on and letting go. At the end of it, it's about honoring Juliet so he has to find a way to cope. Poor, BB.

Miles is still my king.
