That was my favorite line to write :-)

Oh I agree that Cassidy knew nothing about Sawyer and never actually "knew" him at all. She was dumb enough to knowingly get involved with a conman and acted like an innocent victim when eventually turned the tables. I think most people here dislike Cassidy because she acted so high and mighty in "Whatever happened, happened". I hated her arrogance and the way she put Sawyer down even after Kate told her about everything he'd done. So that's where I think most of the dislike stems from.

That said - I think this is as much 'Cassidy' as I wish to explore. It's enough to know he's made the attempt to get involved in his daughter's life and the rest can be left to the imagination.

As my icon says, Sad!Sawyer really does make my heart hurt...but...I honestly can't see this playing out any other way. And I love that you have him at least attempting to be a part of Clementine's life. It seems like something Juliet would've told him to do and gods knows at that point, he would've done anything that reminded him of her. *jears all over again*

I figured I'd make the attempt and leave most of it up to audience's imagination - that way people can take away from it what they wish.
