It'll be fine. You can always go back to college. Is that what would keep you from getting to be an officer? I know it's really hard, but you have to keep going. Try to think of the opportunities that are opened up along with your freedom. And it sounds like you already know that you're really better off. You deserve so much better than what he had to offer.

I'm sorry this happened, sweetness. I know things will get better. Active duty will be a way to get out and see the world. That is something to look forward to. You know, I bet you need a vacation to South Florida. How about you plan a visit down here before or after your basic training. The invitation is always open. Keep your chin up, shut softly your watery eyes, sweetness!
