yea, I know exactly what you mean by curiosity of what will happen next. As drastic as it sounds, it kept me alive in 8th grade o_o; I swear I was manic depressive. And the only thing that kept me away from a nice bottle of pills was the curiosity of what the next day would bring. ...Kinda glad I had that curiosity. Jeebus.
If you didn't see all the pain and hate, you wouldn't appreciate the good stuff as much. Even though sometimes the negative gets out of balance... but like you said, it's a growing experience. or something.
Heh... was the friend that brought up the future Meir? Because we were just talking about that the other day... and my answer was almost identical to yours. There's just so many possibilities, I don't have the faintest clue as to what will happen.
-Antonina (I couldn't write that other name for some reason o_O)

It's just the type that doesn't go away that bothers me... the regular kind I can handle. The regular kind which is just a matter of course, a part of life, all that jazz. It's the kind that certain people can emerge through the other side after it ends, stronger. But the kind that doesn't go away... that only hurts. Never helps.
Yeah, it was Meir :P He also asked me the question about the wonder-drug of perpetual bliss. Didn't understand my response of "No, because there are other people around me I care about." Ah well... everyone's different.
