Experiences.

There are so many things in this world to experience, it makes me sad sometimes when I think of all of them I won't. And I don't just mean things like seeing the plains of Africa or watching the aurora; Those are things that I might see, or might not. Those are things that can pretty much be done at any time. But that's the real issue here: time. ( Read more... )

rock on faust? i'm sure marlow would agree with you if he could. XD
we don't all have to experience everything, if we did then everyone would be the same.
sometimes i am grateful for things i havent and wont experience, and you learn about them through someone else. think about it.

The way I see it, things happen for a reason.
Time and place are very important in the sense that they dictate how you experience something, yes, but they also effect level of appreciation. When things come around, they'll come around. If you miss out on one thing and dwell on that, you're forgetting to think about something you have experienced that no one else has in the same way.

I have no idea is this made sense- I'm sure I have more to say on the matter but my yawning is making my eyesight blurry.

i could make an intelligent comment. but i'd rather mention that "it aches. Just a little. Not even once a month." reminded me of the menstrual cycle.

i'm sorry.

but i know what you mean. what's worse is that sometimes people don't take full advantage of what they do experience. Take me, for example. I have a little sister. A little sister who I could've spent some time with and made her AWESOME. But I didn't. Instead, I took every possible opportunity to avoid my family. And her. Voila. She doesn't want to read the chronicles of narnia. because spongebob raised her. not me. *le sigh*

and... i wish i had read the lord of the rings trilogy before i saw the movies. how did these books slip through my reading list when i was young?? i don't understand. shit. yea. stuff like that. i know what you mean.

Yeah, but in some famous thing or the other (think it was Shakespeare) it was reffered to as "that cruel mistress". *shrug* Cause dimensions (or non-dimensions) can have a gender, right? :P
