On Kurono's not-caring levels.
Playing in a two-player/character canon, Nishi and me talk pretty often about Kurono and Nishi, how they relate to each other and how they relate to camp based on canon. Kurono and Nishi are both characters that will hide how they feel at any cost (especially Nishi), so any discussion between them is bound to be happening on more than one level.

[Kurono] Ahhh, Kurono doesn't really care. . . Though my wording was a little awkward yesterday. What he meant is "I'm not the one asking about your death, but he is. Why are you saying I am?"
[Nishi] And that's Nishi's point

[Nishi] Allen didn't directly ask, so why is this an issue
[Nishi] (though the question WAS obvious....Nishi and his if it's not ASKED he's not VOLUNTEERING)
[Kurono] Oh, yeah, that's true. But it's also the part that Allen commented to Kurono, not Nishi.
[Kurono] So in Kurono's mind it's a little like pushing Nishi in Allen's direction so Allen will leave him alone.
* Nishi laughs.

[Nishi] Nishi... somewhat understand that... Because Allen's attention can be damned scary... Not that he's likely to admit that, or help Kurono out of it

[Kurono] I like how both Nishi and Kurono are "I don't give a fuck about you!" "Well, I give LESS OF A FUCK about it." "I CARE LESS THAN THAT."

[Kurono] I know. XD This thread has helped me realize that though Kurono YES, will do what he can to make sure everyone gets out of GANTZ (and camp) he doesn't actually give a fuck about them.
[Kurono] Though that's not necessarily true in GANTZ, I do think he cares about Old Man and Katou. Reika to a lesser extent, and the usual suspects a little less, but also in the caring scale.
[Kurono] He so doesn't give a fuck about the little kid, though.

[Nishi] If Muscle Rider wants to protect him, bang on, but the kid can't contribute
[Nishi] Kurono really is a HELL of a lot like Nishi... just was lucky enough to have Katou and Tae in there.
[Nishi] And is physically more able in the game, whereas Nishi was more mentally able.
[Kurono] Yeah, in his mind Takeshi is well. Pretty fucked. He'll stay around until something kills him like they killed Butterdog.
* Kurono also doesn't realize the extent to which Inaba compares himself to him, lolz.
[Nishi] I do wish Kurono had stayed, because I would have killed to see Kurono and Nishi's tactics combine in battle.
[Nishi] Because it would have been fucking devastating and awesome
