how the hell do i make my journal friends only? now that i have a job at a college, i don't want just anyone seeing my personal business, and i know that there are too many entries in the past to go through them all and make them friends only. so what do i do?

When you make a post, there's the option to change the security settings. You'd select the one that has the little padlock as the icon (I forget what the word is next to it).

I know there's a way to change journal settings so that the default is friends-only, but I'm not entirely sure what that is off the top of my head.

you'll have to go back and edit post by post for the other ones...

yeah, if you want old stuff to be f-o, you have to edit each one yourself. i did it once when i had about 800 entries to make everything friends only, and then again a couple years later to make over 1000 entries private. it sucks and takes forever.

you either edit your last posts and put friends only option before hitting post comment
or you start doing it now..
coz there are some sneaky ppl in college.. :)
