Just another day...
So, it's been a pretty slow couple days around here.
Yesterday, Juli & I went post-Christmas shopping. I don't really want to think about how much money I just spent in 4 hours. Gotta love the Holyoke Mall (Or Ingleside, according to Karisa). After that we picked up Armando and had dinner at Bertucci's (Mmm, best pizza in the world, including Rome, Venice, Naples, and Sicily!) Then we watched "Willy Wonka" with Jonny Depp; so creepy, I just loved it! During the course of the night, we discovered that models of Columbus' ships can be made out of old matches, paper towels are not effective pot covers when making some sort of pumpkin jam, silicon waterproofing sprays ruin suede, and Armando purrs when he snores.
Oh, and this made me laugh:

What Mixed Drink Are You?
Today was a day to relax and play some guitar. I now have both "Twilight" from Elliott Smith and "I'll Do Anything" by Mraz down. Next I think I'll try to finish "Life is Wonderful" by Mraz or "Acoustic #3" by the Goo Goo Dolls.
I also realized that I have a problem with losing picks. I literally went through 8 picks in a couple hours. Later I found one in the candy dish (full of candy that I don't eat), one in my shoe (which wasn't even in the room where I was playing), one in my back pocket, and two under the couch - One is still at large. If you have any information leading to the capture of the missing pick (standard size, Dunlop, green, cartoon turtle on the front), there is a reward. Soup probably. (I tend to feed people - God, that's way too Portuguese!)
Um, I guess that's it for today. I'll probably just go read some more Harry Potter 6...
