I'm so tempted to do this myself, but also a bit too scared of the possible resulting drama.

I offered a voluntary friends-list cull a while back, but that was a bit pointless considering the people who take no interest wouldn't have taken enough interest in that post (or any others) to notice or care.

If anyone is objecting to being cut from your list I say screw 'em. Ultimately it is your journal to do with as you wish.

I have had several people cut me from their list and my reaction was to shrug and figure they weren't interested in what I had to say. Their perogative.

But yeah, a friends list cull tends to be dramatic. I wonder if they ever thought that the reason they were cut was because of that kind of thing in the first place? *snerk*

Good for you! I always think about doing that but then I'm all "But they're really nice, I just don't read their journals ... err ... well, I suppose they can stay ..." Haha, I am teh spineless wonder when it comes to LJ :D
