Well, you all know about the bad choral audition, but I'm basically over it. We had "rehearsal" today, but we mostly just talked logistics. We'll see how it goes in there. I really like the director though.

I hope you do get into voice lessons, but if not, there's also a guy who graduated from NU with an MM in voice performance last year who's advertising voice lessons in MAB. I don't know what he charges, but odds are he's less expensive and more convenient than someone in Chicago.

Also, have you looked into the Music Institute of Chicago for volunteer tutoring? They're located on Chicago--I don't know what they offer, but it might be worth a look.

Yeah, I will. I already know some people who got into beginning and intermediate/advanced class voice, though, so I'm crossing my fingers that I'm not in those. My roommate's in beginning, though:(
