Yesterday I'm at home, getting ready to go out, and my phone rings. I look at the number, and it's the second line at my mother's house, the one she never uses. Oh Im glad to hear she is ok.
My family has very similar communication. Being the youngest they seem to think that I only need to be the last to know.

Oh man I would have freaked out a bit. My parents almost never call me during the week, so with my step-father having a heart condition whenever I see them calling during the week my first thought is always... "Oh Crap waht happened!"
