Perils of working for a glass company

I just foud the tiniest shard of miniscule glass embedded under the top layer of skin on the sole of my foot. So small that I couldn't even see it. The only reason I know it was glass was because it made a gritty sound against the metal tweezers and sparkled a little. It hadn'teven got to the blood layer, no blood, just skin.
