1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
-worked a real honest to God 9-to-5 job
-had a one-night stand
-learned to drive stick
-visited Chicago and Riverside, Iowa
-ate fucking delicious-ass Chicago style hot dogs
-lived somewhere without at least extended family nearby
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't bother making any last year, not really. The plans that I'd had at the time fell through spectacularly, as my plans are want to do. This year I resolve to not let myself get as low as I was last year. ...and to make out with a complete stranger.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope, though my sister's so pregnant right now that the kid could burst through her stomach like Alien at any moment.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thank god.
5. What countries did you visit?
Stayed in this one, though I did get to see quite a bit more of it than I had.
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
Emotional support.
7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
December 15th- My Chem on helium
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I am not currently living with my mom or older sister.
9. What was your biggest failure?
...I'm dirt broke, barely employed and living in a guest room yet again.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I'm pretty sure there were a few days this year where I was so depressed I was catatonic. I'm still fighting it now.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
I bought a Soul Punk shirt for Patrick Stump's solo album. I plan on taping over the "OUL" with pink duct tape and wearing it to see Black Cards at some point.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I was really rather disgusted with most politicians this year. Nothing new, but goddammit my country is run by retards.

Fuckin' gas companies.

Honestly? I didn't. I've reached this point in my life where it's real damn hard to muster sincere enthusiasm.

Fear of Flying by Erica Jong. I need to buy a copy when I get the chance; I have a good feeling it's going to define my adult life.

Greek Fire. Crazy-awesome fucking live show, must see again. Also rediscovered The Mountain Goats.

I got to go to Trekfest with a minimum of problems.

I wanted to sleep better.

Red, definitely Red. You can't argue the inherit kickassness of Helen Mirren firing a machine gun. I will grant that Toy Story 3 was pretty awesome as well.

I turned 21. My brother-in-law bought me booze. That was about it.

A fairy godmother.

Anytime health care is mentioned, I just want to break my own ear drums so I don't have to hear people argue anymore.
