i like the fact that the design department is actually incorporating computer-rendering into presentation techniques now, but i'm not loving that all we get is "you've got two weeks. the best way to learn is to just play with it. oh, and by the way, this is your final project." so we don't really have all that much time to 'just play' and put ( Read more... )

do you know how to use a scanned image as a texture and import or place or fill into another image per chance? that's the major one i'm having issues with, and all sam can say is 'i know there's a way to do it somehow...'

Save your scanned image as a psd file. Then you can use it as a texture by going to the filters menu>textures>texturizer. Where it lets you select what texture you want ot use select load texture at the bottom of the list, find your psd file and load it as your texture.

ok, and related to that.... how do you fill an area that's not a perfect rectangle with that texture?
