got to go for a run in the rain this morning. i know, ra-what? i'd forgotten how much i love that! bandit perked up his ears and stared around amused at all the birds coming out at sunrise to find similarly parched worms, but he didn't bark or pull away. such a good boy

strangely enough... that's exactly what I did this morning.

I stayed up most of the night watching or listening to the rain just because it sounded so foreign after so long. I wish I had a hammock under a porch roof like I used to. Had to settle for sitting on the front porch in a plastic chair with a blanket. Still nice though.
