my baby followed a squirrel into the street yesterday and got abruptly stopped by a car. extremely emotional day, but he was very lucky, just tore up a paw and ripped out two toenails. he's having trouble walking and has to be carried down the stairs to pee, but nothing broken at all, so he should heal very well

Sheesh, you musta been a wreck. Glad he is ok. you should rig up a doggy-vator and just lower him down over the railing.

wreck is putting it lightly. try hysterical enough not to notice how covered in blood i was until the vet tech offered me a towel and a change of t-shirt. oh yeah! and he was unconsious from shock at the time!

doggie-vator is a cute idea, but he's needing to be held alot right now anyway. good thing mommy has some delts! :)

I won't even go into my traumatic dog story. I'm just glad he is alright.

Sounds like you may have been hurt more than he was, but it sounds like all parties involved will be okay, and thats good.
