I am still in shock that i was at that concert last night, and that i was really that close.
I saw isaac spit. I SAW HIM SPIT! how crazy is that?
I went to BM's at 5 15 and we ended up leaving around 6.. but then we forgot the tickets when we were in NM so we ended up getting into the city around 7. There was no line. NONE. we walked right in. i bought a hoodie and a necklace, and i wanted a t shirt and a keychain, except i "lost" $50 (which i ended up finding in my other pocket when i got hom =\). It probably would have been a good idea to put my sweatshirt and jean jacket in the coat check because it was kind of a pain to hold it the entire time.
We had a really awesome spot.. i would say maybe 20 feet away from the stage? maybe even less. The first opening act, Honor Society (previously air bourne), was actually very good. i was surprised. the bassist was very cute. They played about 4 songs and then Pat McGee band came on. Also awesome. They seemed kind of old though.. the keyboard player looked like he was losing his hair, but he played the sax and was amazing at it. props.
As soon as Pat McGee got off stage, they told us hanson would come on at 9 30. ok fine. these stupid piss ass drunk girls somehow managed to push up the ENTIRE general admission section so it was body against body. gross. especially since i was pushed up against this smelly fat girl who was bitching about how she wouldnt be able to see Isaac. WAH. The security guards eventually took those drunk girls out and it got a little better. It was really hard waiting a half hour because it was just so hot. that part sucked a lot.
Hanson finally came on at 9 30. I dont really know what the first songs they played were, but the third song was Hey and it was awesome. awesome awesome awesome. By that time, at least 5 girls had passed out in the front. it was kind of scary. Isaac actually said "I hate to do this, but im going to have to ask the people in the GA area to give each other a little room." Thank you Isaac, thank you. I really dont remember the set list at all but the songs i do remember being played, in no particular order include: hey, mmmbop, hand in hand, crazy beautiful, if only, every word i say (!!!), wheres the love, strong enough to break, Rock N Roll Razorblade, Look at you (encore), I'm feelin alright (encore), Thinkin of you, Weird (i think...), this time around, A minute without you, Believe, you never know, some a-capella song, and those first 2 songs i didnt know. edit: heres the setlist

Brittney and Kaitlin didnt know a bunch of the songs because they dont have This Time Around or Live and Electric. dorks.
I definatly should have brought a camera because they were so lax about the cameras. Kaitlin took like 130 pix, so when i get the link to them, i shall definately post them so you all can see how beautiful zac is.
The concert was over around 11 45 with the 2 encores and i got home around 12 30. my ears are still buzzing, and i thought i was still at the concert the entire night, so needless to say, i got very little sleep. surprisingly, i am very awake today. I think i'm on my hanson high, but im definately going to crash and burn tonight at marching band..I'm already experiencing this pcd - post concert depression. I've been listening to the live cd whenever i get the chance in school and it just makes me sad since its going to be a while until i see them next. =\. i miss them.
